It is white in color and has a fine crystal structure and is obtained by reacting magnesium minerals with nitric acid. It contains 11% nitrate nitrogen and 15% magnesium (MgO). Since it is completely soluble in water, in addition to classical uses, it can be applied to the soil with drip/sprinkler/underground infiltration irrigation and to the leaves with a sprayer. Since the use of magnesium nitrate is prohibited in organic agriculture, magnesium sulfate or magnesium chloride is used instead. It is put on the market in 25 kg bags.
Depending on the period of use, the dosage is 0.5 kg to 1.5 kg from the root to 1 ton of irrigation water.
Fertilizer should be applied during appropriate irrigation. If this is not possible, it should be preferred to apply fertilizer at the end of irrigation. However; Care should be taken not to exceed the dose of 2.5 kg/ton.
It can be administered from the leaves at a dose of 0.5 kg to 1.5 kg per 100 liters of water.
