It is a completely water-soluble, solid form phosphorus-potassium compound fertilizer and is obtained by reacting phosphoric acid and potassium salt. MKP, containing 52% phosphorus (P2O5) and 34% potassium (K2O), can be used to adjust the nutritional balance between NPK as a nitrogen-free fertilizer. With its high quality properties, MKP can be used in water culture, fertigation or foliar applications at the beginning and middle of the season. Due to its low salt content, absence of chlorine, sodium and heavy metals and optimum pH value (4.5), MKP can be used in foliar fertilization to provide additional phosphorus and potassium support to plants.
